Mat Game – Tricky Race Tracks

Contents:
1 x Game Mat
2 x Die

Required Extras:
Counters / Game Pieces for players.
Pen and Paper for each player

How to play:
Each player puts their counter on the ‘start’ square.
Each player rolls the die and the player who throws the highest number goes first.
Take it in turns to roll the dice.
Move your counter forward the number of spaces shown on the dice
Apply the instructions of the square you land on at the start of your next turn.
Use the provided number lines to help with working out.
The first player to get to ‘The End’ is the winner!

Variations of play:
Provide trickier sums by playing with more than one dice.
Players who roll a 6 can go again.
Players who roll a double 6 miss a turn
